I am 25 and single.
By profession, I am a CPU Engineer. I work for a company called ARM.
Six years back, while still in college, a bunch of five of us friends started a social welfare organisation called DIYA, which is going strong till today. Diya is now an NGO, registered with the Government of India. I have designed the Diya website too.
I love travel and photography. I have been shooting with a Point-and-shoot until recently. Now I own a Nikon D80 DSLR. Check out some of my photos. I still have got a long way to go.
I like having a beard. In a way it improves my look, and I feel it gives me the look of an intellectual. I like it probably because, my college didn’t allow students to have one. I have had it for the past 5 years.
I studied in St.Joseph’s College in Chennai, known for its strictest of the strict rules, run by Jeppiaar, famous for his English. Sample here.
I generally speak less and hate mobile phones.
I have noted that I’ve got some good leadership skills. I have to see how useful it would be for me in my career and my life.
I am right brained, but I earn my bread being a techie. I do some Photoshop designs, as well as Web designs. I am also good in sketching, but hate Maths.
I perform on stage whenever possible – miming, acting, monoact, humor, variety…
I have been blogging since 2005, mainly in Tamil. Now I mostly blog in English for the benefit of a larger arc of readers.
I am not good in any sports. Nor do I have keen interest in sports. It might be because of the way I was brought up. Occasionally I watch cricket and tennis.
Traveling is my passion. Seeing the world is my dream.
I like to celebrate every day of life and live for the moment.
I am a Chennai-guy with roots in Karnataka.
I love food. I like to eat it, as well as prepare it. Mughalai cuisine is my favorite.
I listen to melodies from old Tamil movies.
My job brought me to Bangalore in 2007. Since then, I have loved this city very much. Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Halasur Lake, Nandi Hills, BMTC, Chow chow bath, Chaat, Climate, and hot chicks are some things I love about Bangalore – absent in Chennai.
To make readers not think I am biased, I should say, Marina, Elliot’s, Saravana Bhavan, Globus, Ranganathan Street, Music Academy, Roadside samosas, Spencer’s, Tea-kadais, ECR, and Mahabalipuram are some things I love about Chennai – absent in Bangalore.
When I read my blogs from the earliest to the latest, I see that I have matured from a fast and enthusiastic writer to a calm, but goal-oriented writer. This could be because of the valuable lessons I had in this short span of time.
